My name is Chaitra Giddegowda. I am a parent of a Grade 6 student at Sunningdale Public School.

The school and the teachers have been playing a big role in my child’s foundational years and helping him grow. I am joining the School Council to be able to give back to the school. And also, I hope to be the voice for all the parents and represent their ideas and suggestions at the Council to further enable a great experience for the kids. 

By profession, I am a Senior Manager in Agile Delivery at a financial organization and have been working in IT for over 20 years now. I am originally from India and migrated to the USA in 2008 and then moved to Canada in 2016. We love being a part of this inclusive culture here.

My hobbies include dancing to Bollywood music, interior decorations and traveling around the world.
