Who We Are

Sunningdale School Council 2023/2024

School Council is a dedicated team of parent volunteers who work in partnership with school administration to support the academic and social development of Sunningdale students. As your School Council, we continuously strive to discover new and exciting ways to contribute to the education of Sunningdale students. Education is a partnership involving parents, students, teachers, principals, school boards, government, and the community. As your School Council, we have the opportunity to strengthen that partnership, and provide input and advice with regard to school goals and to enhance learning opportunities, through various activities, for the benefit of all students in the school. We provide input and advice with regard to school goals, and work to enhance the student experience through various activities, which include initiatives and fundraisers such as our year-end fun fair (the Foire Fantastique), Pizza Days, the Staff Appreciation Luncheon and the Friendship Dance. Our fundraising has contributed to classroom enhancements, technology (i.e. new chromebooks), team uniforms, French reading books and resources, and much more!
