In order to volunteer at Sunningdale, a Criminal Record Check which includes a vulnerable sector screening must be completed. The Halton Regional Service now has an online process for residents who require a police record check. Please visit the Halton Regional Police Service website for more information on how to apply either online or in person. Note: There are many online background check services (i.e. mybackcheck.com) on the internet. These services do not include vulnerable sector screening, a requirement for HDSB volunteering.
Once you have a Criminal Record Check on file at the school, you need only fill out an Annual Offence Declaration Form every subsequent year — further police checks are not required.*
