I have been an active member of School Council for the past nine years and currently hold the position of Council Chair. I have a boy at Sunningdale (Anton) who is in grade 8. I am a long-time resident of Oakville and believe strongly in community leadership and involvement. 

In my volunteer capacity in the community, I have previously been an active board member for numerous non-profit organizations, including Board Chair for a women’s shelter, Board Director at a Children’s Aid Society, and continue to volunteer parent with our local Scouts group. 

I have an understanding of organizations working within budget constraints, demonstrating fiscal responsibility and value the important role of our fundraising events to help enrich and enhance the student learning environment and experience! I have come to really appreciate the Sunningdale culture that so deeply cares for its school community, spirit and performance – and would like to continue to contribute on Council to do my part!
