It’s time to celebrate another great school year! Sunningdale’s year-end Foire Fantastique will be held on Thursday, June 12 from 5 pm to 8 pm. (rain date: June 13). This year’s event will feature food and lots of fun activities, including inflatables, silent auction, games, live musical guests and much more! Detailed information about purchasing meal items and wristbands/tickets for activities will be announced soon.
We require many volunteers to make this event a success for our students and families. Volunteers are currently needed to help on the day of the event (i.e. setting up, manning tables, face painting and henna, etc.). The volunteer schedule is organized in shifts, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the fair with your family. To sign up for a volunteer shift(s), go to: Volunteer Sign Up.
Please be reminded that all volunteers must have a Criminal Background Check (which includes a vulnerable sector screening) on file at the school and, for subsequent years, have signed the HDSB's Annual Offence Declaration form (visit the Volunteer page for more details).
Are you a community-minded business owner or know someone who is? There are many ways for local businesses to get exposure at the Foire Fantastique. Consider promoting your product or service at one of our community tables for only $60. Or build community awareness by becoming an event sponsor of an inflatable or activity station. To show our appreciation of the wonderful staff at Sunningdale Public School, School Council is holding a Staff Appreciation Luncheon on Monday, June 2. In an effort to organize this event, we ask that families kindly donate towards the luncheon via School Cash Online (www.schoolcashonline.com). We respectfully suggest $5 per student (or more). Your generosity is greatly appreciated! All proceeds will be used towards the luncheon.
