My name is Shawn Haswell. I am the proud dad to two girls here at Sunningdale (grades 5 and 7). In my work life, I serve as the Manager of Administration and Operations at Ryerson University’s Media School. In a volunteer capacity, I am a past School Council Chair and PIC Representative at River Oaks P.S., past participant in a Halton Boundary Review Committee (representing Sunningdale), and love to dig into the inner workings of the public education system. I’m a real nerd for this stuff.

My family has lived in this neighbourhood for generations. I went to Sunningdale myself a million years ago and before that so did my dad! I am a big fan of the school, the community and the generous Council members who volunteer their time to represent the interests of parents (and their children, of course) for the wonderful administrators at Sunningdale.
