My name is Shazia Sami, and I am a mom of Zafir in grade 4.  I am dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE) with a wealth of experience in inclusive, diverse educational environments. I completed my bachelors in ECS from Toronto Metropolitan University in distinction and currently pursuing a Master of Professional Education (MPEd) from Western University. My focus is to combine practical background with advanced academic insights to support the developmental needs of children. I am committed to fostering environments where all children can thrive, regardless of differences in race or ethnicity. My goal is to create inclusive spaces that celebrate diversity, ensuring that every child feels valued, respected, and supported. By embracing each child's unique background, I aim to promote a sense of belonging and equity, empowering them to reach their full potential in a positive and nurturing atmosphere.  I am excited and looking forward to being a part of this wonderful school council.
